Where are you located?
Tahoewoods Lodging is located in South Lake Tahoe. Our 3 homes are very close to the California border. The area is known as middle Kingsbury. We are just minutes to the lake, south shore casino entertainment, and Heavenly Skiing. Heavenly, the Lake, and the Sierra mountains provide an ideal back-drop for a vacation home and your next event.
When I travel, I really like to splurge, what additional services are available?
First nothing beats a great massage. Our on-call masseuse, Jill will get you feeling relaxed and "on-vacation" in no time. Arrange for a in-home chef is another way to really enjoy your stay. How do I make a reservation?
Please check your desired dates by using the "availability" calendar and then simply call or e-mail us. A refundable $500 security deposit will hold your dates. Rent is due 45 days prior to your stay.
Can I arrange for a late check-out or early check-in?
Pre-arranged late check-outs can be negotiated prior to your stay provided there is not a check-in occurring. You may also request an extended stay until 5pm, just ask us for details.
When will I receive my arrival instructions and booking confirmation?
All arrival instructions and confirmations will be sent by email. You will be emailed confirmation or your reservation within 2 days of receiving your security deposit. You will be emailed your check-in instructions after your final payment has been received.
What time is check-in / out?
Check-in is after 3 PM., check-out is 10 AM. sharp. We need time to thoroughly clean the home and linens for our next guests.
Do you offer discounts, or lower your minimum stay requirement?
Yes, check out our tahoe special offers here. Exceptions to minimums apply when their are gaps between 2 reservations & last minute stays. We can work with you, just give us a call!
Can we grill out on the balcony?
Yes, we have gas grills with propane.
How are the kitchens stocked?
If you enjoy cooking you'll love our homes. Each kitchen is completely outfitted with modern appliances. There's always new cookware, silverware, glassware, dishware, pots, pans, large bowls, to name a few. We also stock spices and condiments.
Is there a grocery store nearby?
Yes, there are two, Raley's & Safeway are about 5-10 minutes away.

What does my rental include?
Our luxury tahoe homes come complete with fine linens, pool towels, bath towels, the initial supply of paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent, laundry detergent, generous kitchen equipment, cooking supplies, tissue, trash liners, condiments. There is also music, dvds, washer / dryer, cribs, pac n plays, high chairs, games, snow removal service, beach passes during summer & garage remotes.
What's near-by in Lake Tahoe?
|Parking at the vacation homes?
There is level access garage parking in all homes with additional parking on the driveport and one side street spot. The maximum number of vehicles allowed is six. Additional cars may be parked at the nearby casinos.
Are there a lot of stairs, is it wheel chair accessible and will you shovel the snow?
The homes present just a few outside stairs. Wheel chairs can access thru the main level. Yes we will have the snow shoveled. This is included in our luxury tahoe vacation homes.
Do you accept credit cards?
Not at this time. We accept business and personal checks, cash and money orders.
Is the tahoe rental home pet-friendly and dog-friendly?
Yes. All pets must be approved prior to your booking. An undeclared pet to our pet-friendly tahoe homes will forfeit your deposit. Please make sure we know to expect a pet in the home.
Which are the closest airports?
Reno / Tahoe International is 1 hour away from our vacation homes on the south shore.
Sacramento Airport is 2 hours away. San Francisco Airport is 3.5 hours away.
Who should I call if I have a problem?
The booking confirmation letter we send you has the contact information, and well as an in-home directory. We can usually resolve any problems that might arise during your stay, such as broken appliances, or most other maintenance issues. Of course, you can always call us as well; our number is also on the confirmation and welcome letter. Our full-time maintenance man is Geoff at 530.545.9256.
